New solar plant to be built in New Mexico

 

A new $50 million solar manufacturing plant is coming to New Mexico and create 100 new jobs.

Array Technologies announced plans to build the campus in Bernalillo County. CEO Kevin Hostetler was joined by Gov. Michelle Lujan Grisham in making the announcement. Array Technologies, formed 30 years ago in Albuquerque is one of the state’s few publicly traded companies.

The forthcoming manufacturing campus, spanning an impressive 216,000 square feet, will be strategically situated on the west side of Albuquerque. Construction is anticipated to commence in the early months of 2024.

Array Technologies secured a substantial amount of funding through the Local Economic Development Act, amounting to $2.5 million.
