Some 700 acres in southern Arkansas are soon to be the site of a 100 Megawatt solar project.
Primergy Solar recently obtained commitments for $300 million in debt finance and tax equity investment for the Prairie Mist solar project located near Crossett, Arkansas. Prairie Mist will be the first step in construction of an eventual 300 MW project to be built in phases up to 2026
Nearly 250,000 photovoltaic panels will be used to power the operation, according to a report by Power Technology.
