Oklahoma utility regulators will meet Thursday afternoon to adopt new rules regarding electric vehicle charging stations across the state.
The matter is on the agenda for the 1:30 p.m. meeting of the Corporation Commission. The proposed rules will apply to those who maintain or operate public EV charging stations. Just as service station operators fall under certain guidelines and rules concerning their gas pumps, charging station operators will do the same.
The Corporation Commission’s Public Utilities Division included the EV rules among several rule changes that are part of the Thursday agenda.
