Customers of Summit Utilities, the largest natural gas supplier in Arkansas, will see lower gas bills this winter.
The Arkansas Public Service Commission approved the lower rates. Customers will be billed about 80 cents per hundred cubic feet of gas, a rate that is 34% lower than last year, according to Arkansas Business,
The new rate is down from $1.22 per ccf in 2022 and nearly 90 cents per ccf from 2021.
Summit, a natural gas supplier also regulated by the Oklahoma Corporation Commission, had earlier been cleared by the PSC of price-gouging accusations made last winter.
