Rep. Bice back to work

Oklahoma Congresswoman Stephanie Bice says the Energy and Water Subcommittee Appropriations bill passed in the House last week was a continuation of work to “fund the government in a fiscally responsible manner.”

She and every other member of the Oklahoma delegation in the House voted for the measure.

“We must continue to prioritize programs that promote funding for agencies and programs that bolster our national security, energy security, and economic competitiveness. Under the leadership of House Republicans, the House is seeking to reduce spending and get our country back on track,” said Bice in a statement released this week.

The act, officially known as H.R. 4934 of the Energy and Water Development and Related Agencies Appropriations, funds the Department of Energy, Army Corps of Engineers, Bureau of Reclamation, and other related agencies.
