Motorists in Oklahoma City are being alerted to the city’s creation of street lanes just for city buses.
Oklahoma City’s first bus lanes are here to support RAPID NW! Pavement marking and signage installation are underway in the outer right lanes of:
- NW Expressway between Independence Ave. & Classen Blvd.
- Classen Blvd. between NW Expressway & NW 16th St.
The outer right lanes will be reserved for EMBARK’s new RAPID buses and motorists making right turns, preserving access to businesses, neighborhoods, and cross streets.
Motorists should be alert to the change and observe all posted traffic signs and lane markings when driving in the area.
