The interim attorney general in Texas ruled that county governments cannot ban the development of solar farms.
The ruling came from Angela Colmenero, the interim attorney general while Ken Paxton awaits his impeachment trial. It came in a decison regarding Franklin County and Colmenero said state law does not give a county the authority to ban solar projects.
