Just when you thought maybe fall had arrived early…..sorry.
The triple digit heat is returning to Oklahoma and the region.
Oklahoma Climatologist Gary McManus says it will arrive as early as Friday and perhaps on Thursday.
Oh, a word of warning if you intend to go to either the OSU or OU home football games.
“And if you’re are going to the OU or OSU home football games that day…take a bag to pour yourself into as you melt. But remember, it needs to be a clear bag, per stadium rules,” cautioned McManus in his Monday morning weather alert.
He advised that OU will be the worst because it has an 11 a.m. start time. In other words, the full sun will bake the Sooner fans for the entire game.
Oklahoma State won’t be as bad because its home game start time is 6 p.m. Still, it’s advisable to get under some awning if you plan on tailgating.
