Oklahoma’s ONEOK, Inc. will be taking part in a Las Vegas energy conference this week, all in the name of attracting new investors while it prepares to acquire Magellan Midstream Inc.
Company leaders will participate in investor meetings at the Citi Midstream Energy Infrastructure Conference underway Tuesday and Wednesday.
The company’s attendance comes as it hopes to win shareholder approval of its merger with Magellan Midstream based in Tulsa.
“This acquisition provides a compelling long-term value proposition, resulting in a more diversified company with added scope, scale and synergy opportunities,” stated the company in its investor materials.
