Transportation leaders in Kansas say one way or another, they plan to prepare for an expanded EV population in the state.
Right now, the state doesn’t have enough electric vehicle charging stations to meet the emerging demand.
“One way or another, this is coming, so we need to be prepared,” said Tami Alexander, the transportation electrification manager with the Kansas Department of Transportation, KSNW reports.
