Rare lizard latest wildlife that could create a fight in the Permian Basin


Another fight is brewing over a rare lizard found in the Permian Basin.

Already U.S. wildlife managers want to list the dunes sagebrush lizard as an endangered species an it could interfere in the extensive oil and gas exploration in West Texas and southeast New Mexico.

The Fish and Wildlife Service plans to collect public comments through Sept. 1 reported the Associated Press.
