It’s a big week for many of the energy companies as they release their latest earnings reports.
Devon Energy, Gulfport and Chesapeake Energy are among some of the Oklahoma oil and gas firms that will release their reports Tuesday.
Tulsa-based Williams will report its earnings on Wednesday. Others such as Occidental Petroleum, ConocoPhillips, Phillips 66, EOG Resources, Pioneer Natural Resources, and Diamondback Energy are among those releasing their earnings.
The question in the eyes of some energy observers is whether the firms will produce the same kind of results that Exxon Mobil and Chevron did—both posted second-quarter profits significantly lower compared with the record-setting levels of last year.
OGE, NGL and Mammoth Energy plans to release their earnings reports next week.
