Devon Energy records new producers in Blaine County

 

Devon Energy reported completion of three wells with production of more than 2,000 barrels of oil a day in Blaine County.

The Burr Oak wells were drilled on a single pad at 26 15N 11W , a site a few miles northeast of the Greenfield community and just northwest of the Jesse Chisholm grave site. They were completed in early April of this year.

The Burr Oak 35_2-15n-11w 4hx was the largest oil producer with 735 barrels of oil a day and 9,714 Mcf of natural gas from a drilled depth of 21,817 feet. Its true vertical depth was 11,801 feet and the well was spud in October 2022 according to the completion report.

The Burr Oak 35_2-15n-11w 3hx, spud in October 2022, produced 734 barrels of oil a day and 9,279 Mcf of natural gas from a drilled depth of 22,023 feet. Its completion report showed a true vertical depth of 11,727 feet.

The third well, the Burr Oak 35_2-15n-11w 5hx, was the largest natural gas producer at 12,407 Mcf along with oil production of 593 barrels a day. Its drilled depth was 22,176 while the true vertical depth was 11,750 feet according to the completion report. It was spud September 28, 2022.

Their combined oil production was 2,062 barrels of oil a day while the gas production totaled 31,400 Mcf a day.
