Newest producing wells are in Kingfisher and Canadian Counties

 

Among the latest completion reports filed on Oklahoma wells is a June 2022 well in Kingfisher County by Ovintiv USA Inc. with production of more than 1,000 barrels of oil a day.

The Kretchmar 1507 2h-2x, drilled at 35 16N 7W, a site about a mile southeast of the city of Kingfisher produced 1,003 barrels of oil a day and 1,112 Mcf of natural gas from the Mississippian formation.

The drilled depth was 18,522 feet while the true vertical depth, according to the completion report, was 7,829 feet. The well was spud in January of 2022.

Marathon Oil Company filed reports on two wells drilled on a single pad that produced a total of 895 barrels of oil a day from the Mississippi Solid in Canadian County.

Located at 12 14N 9W or 8 miles southwest of Okarche, the Janice 1409 2-13-24mxh produced 405 barrels of oil a day and 2,708 Mcf of natural gas. Drilled depth was 20,777 and the completion report showed a true vertical depth of 10,609 feet. The well was spud in September of 2022 and completed March 13, 2023

The Janice 1409 3-13-24mxh, completed on the same date of March of this year at a drilled depth of 20,750 feet, produced 490 barrels of oil a day and 4,004 Mcf of natural gas. The completion report showed as true vertical depth of 10,453 and a November 2022 spud date.
