Coal to hydrogen study underway in Wyoming

A utility operating in several Great Plains states launched a feasibility study into the potential of generating hydrogen from coal and its study is being carried out in Wyoming coal country

Using a grant from the Wyoming Energy Authority, Black Hills Energy and researchers from Ohio State University to determine the possibilities of generating hydrogen from coal.

The site is the Wyodak Mine in Campbell County, Wyoming reported Daily Energy Insider.
