Biden’s Energy Department announces $251 million funding for carbon capture projects

Carbon capture and storage projects in seven states, including Texas and Wyoming, received a $251 million shot in the arm this week from the Biden administration.

The U.S. Department of Energy announced the funding of the grants that are aimed at reduction of planet-warming pollution from power plants and industrial operations. A major oil corporation, BP, is among the recipients of the awards reported the Associated Press.
