New government reports show slight increases in oil and gas production in the Anadarko Basin and other producing regions of the U.S.

Information from the U.S. Energy Information Administration indicated new well oil production in the Anadarko went from 665 barrels a day on average in May and is expected to increase to 666 barrels a day in June.

Natural gas production from new wells is expected to increase from 3,984 Mcf a day on average to 4,016 Mcf a day in June.

Total Anadarko Basin oil production was 439,000 barrels a day and the EIA predicts June production will grow to 444,000 barrels a day.

The EIA stated the Permian Basin’s new well production in May was 1,054 barrels a day on average and will decrease to 1,053 barrels by June. Natural gas production in the Permian was 2,030 Mcf a day and should decline to 2,010 Mcf in June.

Total oil production the Permian was 5,692,000 barrels a day and will grow to 5,707,000 barrels a day in June.
