Oklahoma seeks well pluggers under federally funded program

State and US officials tout spending to plug 'orphan wells' – KXAN Austin

 

The Oklahoma Corporation Commission has launched a campaign to attract private firms interested in helping with the state’s federally-funded well plugging program.

In a recent announcement, the Commission explained that the state issued a “new solicitation” for those interested in becoming part of the program under the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act.

In the announcement, interested parties were urged to use the state Supplier Portal at the Oklahoma Office of Management Enterprise Services. (Review and bid here )

Those firms already with a contract under a previous solicitation were advised not to apply again. The program is for licensed well pluggers only.
