Broadband expansion money spent instead on emergency responders

 

A new report by The Frontier revealed that millions of dollars in federal money meant to expand Oklahoma’s broadband internet system instead ended up going to emergency responders.

The online report indicated the decision was made by the state board responsible for expanding broadband access. It explained the money went to the Department of Public Safety and and when informed of the decision, legislators were confused reported The Frontier.
