Some city leaders in Denver, Colorado now admit that maybe their goals were a little too lofty in EV development in order to meet greenhouse gas reduction goals.

Gov. Jared Polis unveiled a plan to electrify all vehicles across the state by 2050 but it appears residents of Denver aren’t jumping so quickly into the movement. The Denver Gazette reports the city might reach 10% of the total light-duty vehicle fleet by 2030, only a third of the original goal of 30%.
