A new report by the nonprofit news group Climate Central says the wind power potential in the Midwest is growing.
It currently ranks Oklahoma second most with wind farm operations and renewable energy production, behind Texas and ahead of Iowa.
The report ranked Kansas as number five and it certainly got the attention of Kansas environmental leaders reported the Kansas City Star.
