National EV charging network—American made only

The national charging network that the Biden administration wants across Oklahoma and the rest of the nation will have some new requirements.

Final rules were announced this week, requiring that the chargers will be manufactured in the U.S. and more than half of the cost will come from U.S. made components by next year reported Reuters.

The companies seeking to get some of the $7.5 billion in federal funding will also have to adopt the dominant U.S. standard for charging connectors.
