Oklahoma energy stocks responded Tuesday with a strong day in trading as crude oil prices rose more than 3%.
It came after Federal Reserve chairman Jerome Powell eased market worries over interest rate hikes.
West Texas Intermediate crude went up 4.1% or $3.03 per barrel to finish at $77.14 on the New York Mercantile Exchange.
Global benchmark Brent crude rose 3.3% or $2.70 a barrel and closed at $83.69 on ICE Futures Europe.
March natural gas rose 12 cents to $2.58 per 1,000 cubic feet.
Oklahoma energy stocks rebounded Tuesday from Monday’s weak day with Mammoth Energy’s 7% gain and a 6% boost for Vital Energy and Gulfport Energy Corp.
