Number of utility power cutoffs grows across US

 

A new report says electricity was cut off more than 1.5 million times last year as consumers struggled with soaring bills according to environmental and clean energy advocates.

In other words, Oklahomans were not alone in facing one increase after another.

Bloomberg reported the increase came as US consumers wrestled with a 14% increase in their electricity bills and 19% more for natural gas bills.
