A $2 billion, 400-mile high voltage transmission line will be constructed across northern New Mexico to carry wind power.
The New Mexico Renewable Energy Transmission Agency announced the new joint development agreement with the private company, Invenergy Transmission. RETA hopes to start the operations in 2028.
