Wednesday’s trading brought a dollar a barrel drop in crude oil prices after Russian oil shipments through the Druzhba pipeline to Hungary restarted.
Plus, there was the issue of increased COVID-19 cases in China. The slide in crude prices also brought down Oklahoma energy stocks.
December natural gas rose 17 cents or nearly 3% to $6.20 per 1,000 cubic feet.
As for Oklahoma energy stocks, most endured losses in Wednesday’s trading including a nearly 6% drop for Ovintiv, a 5% drop for Coterra Energy and a 4% slide for Gulfport Energy.
Other energy stocks had the same kind of ‘downward’ performance according to the Texas Energy Report.
