Canoo moves closer to $1 million from OKC

Electric vehicle maker Canoo is a step closer to getting $1 million in incentives from Oklahoma City as part of the company’s decision to locate a manufacturing plant in the city.

The City’s Economic Development Trust voted this past week to recommend that the City Council approve the request. The Oklahoman reported that under the agreement, Canoo would not receive the $1 million until 550 jobs are created over three years.
