Weekend storms left thousands without power in Oklahoma

Severe weather, including lightning, strong wind gusts and heavy rain Saturday night caused power outages across the service area, with the majority of the impact in Durant and the Oklahoma City metro.

As of 2 p.m. Sunday, there were approximately 800 customers without service, down from a peak of 11,000 overnight. The company anticipated full restoration by Sunday night.
