Native Exploration drills big oil and gas producers in McClain County

The three wells drilled near Blanchard by Oklahoma City-based Native Exploration Operating LLC turned out to be quite a hit for the company. Drilled on a single pad, the wells ended up with more than 2,000 barrels of oil a day and nearly 18,000 Mcf of natural gas.

 

The largest gas producer, the Charles 0804 34-3 3wxh, 34 8N 4W, a site about 2 miles east of Blanchard in McClain County, produced 16,014 Mcf of natural gas when it was completed March 4 of this year. The well, spudded in November 2021 had a drilled depth of 20,421 in the Woodford formation according to the completion report.

The two remaining wells were oil producers—with combined production of 2,121 barrels of oil a day.

The Charles 0804 34-3 3wxh, also spudded in November of last year had production of 1,023 barrels of oil a day and 942 Mcf of natural gas from a drilled depth of 20,421 feet in the Woodford when completed.

The Charles 0804 34-3 2wxh produced 1,098 barrels of oil and 1,000 Mcf of natural gas a day from a depth of 20,135 feet. The completion report showed its spud date was also in November of 2021.

The natural gas production from the two wells that mainly produced oil brought combined production from the 3 wells on the same pad to 17,956 Mcf of gas a day.
