Judge tosses convictions of former KU researcher

A University of Kansas researcher who had been accused of illegally concealing work he did at a Chinese university won a major victory in court when a federal judge three out three of four convictions against him.

A jury had convicted research Feng “Franklin” Tao last spring three three counts of wire fraud and one count of false statements reported South China Post.
