Existing oil and gas leases to be reconsidered in North Dakota and Montana

Missouri to spend more than $100 million settling pay claims for  corrections officers

 

Some of the government leases held in western North Dakota by oil and gas operators out of Oklahoma could be among those the federal government plans to reconsider as part of a settlement agreement with environmental groups.

More than 100 such oil and gas leases in North Dakota and eastern Montana will be reconsidered by the U.S. Bureau of Land Management according to a report by KTVH TV news in Helena, Montana.
