A Kansas utility’s plan to invest $96 million in energy efficiency programs is being met with skepticism by some environmental groups.
The Kansas Reflector reports Evergy, a utility that serves 1.6 million customers in Kansas and Missouri wants to create the efficiency programs in order to lower carbon emissions and customers’ bills.
