Dewey County exploration proved successful for Oklahoma City-based Crawley Petroleum Corporation as it recently reported completion of two wells, one with more than 1,100 barrels oil a day in production.
Located at 28 19N 14W , a site about 6 miles northwest of the town of Canton, the Hewitt 2-28mhx was completed in June with production of 1,105 barrels of oil a day along with 4,124 Mcf of natural gas from a drilled depth of 19,504 feet. The completion report showed the well with an April 2022 spud date.
Crawley’s second well in Dewey County, the Rhea 2-33mhx, completed in June produced 700 barrels of oil a day and 2,358 Mcf of natural gas from a depth of 19,653 feet. Located at 33 19N 14W in a section of land adjoining the Hewitt 2-28mhx the well was spudded in March 2022 according to its completion report.
Continental Resources filed reports this week on a Grady county well with production of 954 barrels of oil a day and 14,395 Mcf of natural gas. Located south of Alex at 6 4N 5W , the Silver Stratton 2-6-31-30xhw was completed in March of this year. Its drilled depth was 28,702 feet in the Woodford formation following a December 2021 spud date according to its completion report.
