Nebraska gas line operator wants to convert to carbon dioxide

Trailblazer Pipeline's owners want to switch it from natural gas to CO2

 

The Federal Energy Regulatory Commission has started a review of a southern Nebraska pipeline operator who wants to switch from transportation of natural gas to carbon  dioxide.

Operators of the 40-year old Trailblazer Pipeline want permission to abandon most of the line for natural gas. The request comes from Trailblazer Pipeline Co. LLC and its sister firm, Rockies Express Pipeline, LLC, both are subsidiaries of Tallgrass Energy reported the North Platte Telegraph.
