Oilfield employment across the U.S. increased by nearly 4,800 during the month of May, reaching a total of nearly 629,000 according to the government.
The Bureau of Labor Statistics reported the increase in May totaled 4,774 jobs, bringing the nation’s total employment in the oilfields to 628,793.
