Kingfisher and Canadian counties yield more oil production

Two Kingfisher County sites yield nearly 10,000 barrels of oil a day – Oklahoma Energy Today

 

Kingfisher County continues yielding some sizeable oil producers—the latest being drilled by the Oklahoma energy firms of Hinkle Oil & Gas and Tapstone Energy.

Hinkle Oil & Gas of Oklahoma City reported production of more than 1,800 barrels of oil a day from four wells on a Kingfisher County single pad.

Located at 17 17N 5W, a site 9 miles west of the town of Crescent, the Lincoln Southeast Oswego Units had combined production of 1,849 barrels of oil a day.

The Lincoln Southeast Oswego Unit 13-2ho, completed in early May of this year produced 281 barrels of oil a day and 438 Mcf of natural gas. The well had a March spud date and its drilling depth was 11,595 feet into the Oswego formation.

Lincoln Southeast Oswego Unit 17-4ho, completed in late April had production of 683 barrels of oil a day and 493 Mcf of natural gas from a drilled depth of 11,615 feet. It had an April 5 spud date.

Four STACK wells finished by Hinkle Oil and Gas – Oklahoma Energy Today

The third well on the same pad, the Lincoln Southeast Oswego Unit 16-1ho was completed in late April with production of 536 barrels of oil a day and 481 Mcf of natural gas from a drilled depth of 11,651 feet.

The last of the four wells, the Lincoln Southeast Oswego Unit 14-4ho, was completed in early May and produced 329 barrels of oil a day and 483 Mcf of natural gas from a drilled depth of 6,412 feet.

Tapstone acquired in $419 million agreement – Oklahoma Energy Today

Three Tapstone Energy wells in Kingfisher County had total production of more than 1,500 barrels of oil a day. The Ruth 10-16-6 4hc, located at 10 16N 6W, a site about 5 miles northeast of the city of Kingfisher had production of 920 barrels of oil a day and 1,411 Mcf of natural gas when completed in February 2022. The well had an August 2021 spud date and its drilled depth was 16,339 feet.

The Rita 27-18-6 1hc, located at 27 18N 6W, about four miles northeast of the town of Dover, had production of 397 barrels of oil a day and 926 Mcf of natural gas when completed in March of this year at a drilled depth of 16,676 feet. It had a July 2021 spud date.

Tapstone also reported completion of three wells on a single pad about 3 miles north of the city of Kingfisher. Combined production was 1,129 barrels of oil a day from the site at 27 17N 7W, located adjacent to highway 81.

The Beverly 27-17-7 1hc had initial production of 237 barrels of oil a day and 1,403 Mcf of natural gas. The well was completed in February of this year with a drilled depth of 17,370 feet. It had a spud date in September 2021.

The Beverly 27-17-7 2hc produced 452 barrels of oil a day and 642 Mcf of natural gas from a drilled depth of 15,817 feet when completed in February 2022. Its spud date was in September 2021.

The Beverly 27-17-7 3hc was completed in February of this year and had production of 440 barrels of oil a day and 307 Mcf of natural gas from a drilled depth of 17,076 feet. It too was spudded in September 2021.

Three Canadian County wells drilled by Paloma Operating Co. of Houston, Texas had combined production of nearly 700 barrels of oil a day.

The three Southern Star wells were drilled on a single pad at 4 12N 7W, a site at the northern edge of the city of El Reno. The Southern Star 33-13n-7w 6mh, completed in March of this year had production of 192 barrels of oil a day and 810 Mcf of natural gas from a drilled depth of 14,949 feet. It was spudded in August 2021.

The Southern Star 33-13n-7w 7mh, also completed in March had production of 202 barrels of oil a day and 858 Mcf of natural gas. Its drilled depth was 15,170 and its spud date was in August 2021.

The third well, the Southern Star 33-13n-7w 9mh, produced 279 barrels of oil a day and 699 Mcf when completed in March from a drilled depth of 15,495 feet. It too had an August 2021 spud date.
