The governor of Missouri has signed into law a measure giving farmers and ranchers more protection from eminent domain efforts.
The bill was created in the wake of the Grain Belt Express transmission project that is designed to move wind powered electricity from southwest Kansas across Missouri and Illinois to Indiana.
