Crude oil prices slipped in Monday’s trading even after getting a boost by a raise in July crude prices by Saudi Arabia. It left some Oklahoma energy stocks with healthy gains while others recorded losses.
West Texas Intermediate crude for July delivery dropped 37 cents to settle at $118.50 a barrel on the New York Mercantile Exchange.
Global benchmark Brent crude for August delivery decreased by 21 cents to $119.51 a barrel on ICE Futures Europe.
July natural gas rose 80 cents to $9.32 per 1,000 cubic feet.
Oklahoma energy stocks were mixed in trading with PHX Minerals gaining nearly 10% while LSB Industries lost about 10%.
