Colorado bans PFAS in oil and gas drilling

The Governor of Colorado has signed a bill into law banning the use of PFAS or per-and polyfluoroalkyl substances in products used for oil and gas drilling.

It makes Colorado to become the first state to bank the PFAS in oil and gas industry use and the law becomes effective Jan. 1, 2024 reported Chemical and Engineering News.
