Crude oil prices made more slight gains in Thursday’s trading in the U.S. but dropped in Europe as supply issues remain a concern.
West Texas Intermediate crude for June delivery went up 42 cents to settle at $106.13 a barrel on the New York Mercantile Exchange.
Global benchmark Brent crude for July delivery slipped 6 cents and closed at $107.45 on ICE Futures Europe.
June natural gas rose 10 cents to $7.74 per 1,000 cubic feet.
Oklahoma energy stocks had a weak day in trading. Some stocks made moderate gains while others such as Gulfport Energy fell nearly 5%. Laredo Petroleum dropped 4%.
