New wells reported in Oklahoma

Some of the latest completion reports filed for new wells in Oklahoma include four Continental Resources wells on a single pad in Grady County.

The wells, located at 29 6N 6W, a site a few miles southeast of the city of Chickasha had a combined production of more than 900 barrels of oil a day. Not the biggest oil producers certainly in the SCOOP, but the reports show completions were made in December 2021 and they had large gas production.

The Linton 4-32-5xhw was the largest producer at 342 barrels of oil a day and 8,882 Mcf of natural gas a day from a drilled depth of 25,154 feet. The well had a June 2021 spud date according to its completion report.

The second Linton well, completed at a drilled depth of 24,594 feet had production of 223 barrels of oil a day and 6,320 Mcf of natural gas. It had a July 2021 spud date according to its completion report.

The third Linton well produced 218 barrels of oil a day and 7,212 Mcf of natural gas when completed in November 2021. It had a drilled depth of 25,424 feet.

Another Linton well drilled on the same bad produced 165 barrels of oil a day and 4,272 Mcf of natural gas from a depth of 22,985 feet according to its completion report.

A fifth Linton well was drilled on an adjacent section and across the road from the four-well production site. Located at 32 6N 6W, the Linton 2-32-5xhm, had production of 152 barrels of oil a day and 3,021 Mcf of natural gas. It was completed in November 2021 following an August 2021 spud date.

Continental Resources also reported completion of a Blaine County well with production of only 43 barrels of oil a day and 54 Mcf of natural gas. The Binder 2r-13h, located at 12 16N 11W is a site about 5 miles northeast of Watonga.

 

Crawley Petroleum Corporation of Oklahoma City completed a Dewey County well at 27 19N 16W , a site about 4 miles southeast of Seiling. The Kenneth 1-34mh produced 437 barrels of oil a day and 2,279 Mcf of natural gas when completed in April of this year at a drilled depth of 15,577 feet. It had a January 2022 spud date.
