A first quarter financial earnings report will be released by Ovintiv on Monday, May 9.
The company announced it intends to hold a conference call the next day, Tuesday May 10 at 8 a.m. Central Time.
The initial release of the financial earnings will be made after the close of markets on Monday.
Fourth quarter net earnings that were released in February totaled $1.4 billion or $5.21 per diluted share of common stock.
The earnings report for the quarter and the full-year were strong enough to prompt Ovintiv CEO Brendan McCracken to state, “—we are increasing our base dividend and we expect to meet our $3 billion net debt target in the second half of 2022, which will unlock another significant increase in cash returns.”
Ovintiv was able to reduce net debt in the fourth quarter by $2.3 billion.
