Chesapeake Energy Corporation plans an early-May release of its 2022 first quarter operational and financial results.
The release will be after the close of markets on Wednesday, May 4. A conference call to discuss the results is scheduled for Thursday, May 5 at 8 am. central daylight time.
Chesapeake reported $563 million in net cash in the fourth quarter and net income of nearly $1.4 billion or $11.13 per diluted share.
“In 12 short months, we have strengthened Chesapeake’s portfolio, clarified our strategy and focused our capital and talented team on our highest return assets,” Nick Dell‘Osso, Chesapeake’s President and Chief Executive Officer, said at the time of the fourth quarter earnings release.
He said the company anticipates returning nearly $1 billion in cash to shareholders this year.
