State Capitol to Host Aerospace Awareness Day on Wednesday

The Oklahoma Aeronautics Commission will host its annual AERO Oklahoma Aviation, Aerospace & Defense Awareness Day at the Oklahoma State Capitol on Wednesday, March 30. The event recognizes Oklahoma’s aviation, aerospace and defense industry as a vital economic engine for the state.

AERO Oklahoma is the industry’s largest gathering in aviation and aerospace, the state’s second-largest economic engine and fastest-growing industry. Many of the state’s top aerospace entities participate in this Aviation + Aerospace Advocacy Day and will have exhibit booths set up around the rotunda to promote their organizations and to show what impact they and the rest of the state’s aerospace industry have on Oklahoma’s economy.

Attendees will hear from various speakers throughout the day, including Gov. Kevin Stitt and House Speaker Charles McCall.

AERO Oklahoma will be held at the State Capitol from 9:30 a.m. until 2 p.m.
