Another report indicated it is Panasonic that is the firm looking at Oklahoma or Kansas as the site of a multi-billion dollar plant to be located and bring thousands of new jobs to where ever it is located.
Reuters reports that public broadcaster NHK reported Friday Japan’s Panasonic Corporation is looking to locate either at a site near Tulsa or in eastern Kansas. As OK Energy Today has been reporting for several weeks, a mystery company was interested in locating in one of the two states, prompting the Kansas legislature to offer $1 billion in incentives to land the plant.
In the past month, reports surfaced that Panasonic was the mystery company and Reuters and NHK were the latest to make the claim.
