Gov. Stitt urges Biden to stop buying oil from Russia

Oklahoma governor urges Biden to halt import of Russian oil

Governor Kevin Stitt heavily criticized President Biden this week for not including oil and gas export sanctions against Russia and at the same time told the President he was in his prayers in making difficult decisions over the war in Ukraine.
He sent a letter to the White House before the State of the Union address, telling the President, “we should be selling energy to our friends and not buying it from our enemies.”
He also issued a tweet about it:
@GovStitt
Today I sent a letter to President Biden demanding he take action to strengthen the U.S. and our allies by embracing America’s domestic oil and natural gas industry, including immediately halting the importation of Russian oil and natural gas.
