No doubt, there is a lot of celebration happening this week by energy companies in Oklahoma as state regulators are about to launch an electronic filing system in the state. Or at least by their attorneys.
The Corporation Commission plans to begin the ECF on Monday, March 21 and is asking companies that file cases with the Commission to register for the system.
Previously, paperwork filed by attorneys in company cases had to be mailed or hand-delivered to district offices or headquarters of the commission.
In announcing the system, the commission said training and demonstrations are “in the works” in conjunction with the OBA CLE Department for attorneys who file at the OCC on energy, transportation, utility and other matters.
