Promotions of Point Energy Partners’ management team in the Delaware Basin include individuals who formerly worked for SandRidge Energy and Devon Energy in Oklahoma.
Joel Acosta, named senior vice president of operations came from Crescent Consulting where he drilled and operated wells in Oklahoma, Texas and New Mexico. He previously worked at SandRidge Energy, RKI Exploration & Production and WPX Energy where he managed drilling programs.
Point Energy named Jay Brenner to also be a senior vice president of operations after he joined the company in 2021. Brenner had previously led completions teams for Devon Energy, WPX Energy and RKI Exploration & Production.
A third promotion was Cameron Boyd who was named vice president of operations. He joined Point Energy with more than 18 years of engineering experience.
Point Energy was founded in 2017 and focuses its efforts in the Delaware sub-basin of the Permian. Those efforts are largely confined to more than 15,000 gross operated acres in Loving and Ward counties.
