Thursday produced a second straight day of gains for crude oil prices in the states but not overseas. It left some Oklahoma energy stocks with modest gains while others recorded losses.
West Texas Intermediate crude for March delivery went up 22 cents to finish at $89.88 a barrel on the New York Mercantile Exchange.
Global benchmark Brent crude for April delivery slipped 14 cents to settle at $91.41 a barrel on ICE Futures Europe.
March natural gas fell 5 cents to $3.96 per 1,000 cubic feet.
Some were up. Some were down. That’s the best way to describe Thursday’s trading for Oklahoma energy stocks.
However, one stood out for its major loss. NGL Energy Partners suffered a more than 22% loss for the day, coming on the heels of its latest earnings report.
