ALLETE has two major wind farm operations in Oklahoma. A year ago, the company acquired the 303-Megawatt Caddo wind farm in western Oklahoma. The firm has renewable energy sale agreements with Oshkosh Corp.

The other project is the Diamond Spring wind farm near Ardmore which became operational in late 2020.

ALLETE’s third quarter earnings were 53 cents a share on net income of $27.6 million, down from 78 cents and $40.7 million a year earlier.

ALLETE Clean Energy recorded a third quarter 2021 net loss of $800,000 compared to net income of $1.1 million in 2020. Net income in 2021 reflects lower wind resources and availability.
